| Since I was a little girl I have been drawing, painting and loved fairytales, I did and and still do admire fairy- and fantasy-art. In 1991 I started to sculpt dolls, finally I could give my fantasies a 3D-look. Well I still like to draw and paint, with the new possibilities of digital art, a completely new world opened for me. While I started to sculpt and made my first steps in porcelaine-doll-making, including the molds, I also designed my own teddy-creations. As the days only have 24 hours I had to put something away… with the new dollscene and the reborndolls, I started to create those sweet babies. What a surprise, in 2009 I received several international awards for reborning and sculpting one-of-a-kind dolls, also smaller scale. With these awards I also got a contract and I was able to sculpt prototypes for an international doll-company. I am so happy to see my creations all over the world and everytime they look completely different, thank you all dear doll-artists for doing such a great job on my reborn-kits! I have been creating reborn-dolls for many years, but always loved the „minis“. My first love was a dollhouse one of my friends in the neighborhood had :)… my real and true love is what I do now: „minis“, I stopped with big dolls, and I create minis with a great passion now. Schon als kleines Kind haben mich Puppen oder Märchen fasziniert. Die Elfenwelt verzaubert mich heute noch. Bei meinem anderen Hobby „digital-art“ lebe ich diese Leidenschaft aus und bringe meine Fantasien zum Leben. Die Welt des Abstrakten und Fantasy begleitet mich schon lange, bevor dies alles „trendy“ wurde. Im Jahre 1991 wagte ich mich dann zum ersten Mal an eine selbst modellierte Puppe. Da hatte ich etwas entdeckt, das noch mehr begeistern konnte, meine Fantasiegestalten bekamen eine „fassbare“ Form. Es ging nicht lange und ich konnte meine Finger nicht mehr von dem Puppenmodellieren lassen. Ich lernte den Umgang mit verschiedenen Materialien, auch den Formenbau und die Verarbeitung von Porzellan. Parallel zu den Puppen entstanden ebenfalls eigene Teddykreationen. Mit dem Rebornvirus ist das Herstellen von Teddies jedoch wieder in den Hintergrund gerückt. Mein Bestreben hat sich gelohnt, nachdem ich mehrere internationale Awards gewonnen habe (im Rebornen wie im Modellieren) wurde ich von einer namhaften Firma aus den USA unter Vertrag genommen und modellierte für diese Unikate die zu Bausätzen produziert wurden. Meine wirkliche Leidenschaft … die „Minis“ rückten dabei nie von meiner Seite, nun nach etlichen Jahren Rebornen, habe ich meine „Mini-Leidenschaft“ nun in den Vordergrund gerückt und widme mich nur noch fast auschliesslich dem. |
